Warranty and Repair
Triple Aught Design branded products are fully guaranteed to the original owner against defects in materials and workmanship. Items with defects in materials or workmanship will be repaired, replaced, or refunded at the discretion of Triple Aught Design for the lifetime of the product. Products damaged due to wear and tear, misuse or neglect are not covered under this warranty.
If your purchase was made through one of our Authorized Dealers we recommend that you contact them directly regarding all warranty and repair inquiries.
All items returned to Triple Aught Design must be accompanied by a Return/Repair Merchandise Authorization (RMA) form. This allows us to identify your item when it arrives at our warehouse. Items must also be cleaned before being sent to us, in accordance with California State law.

How do I submit an item for warranty or repair?
- Complete a Return Merchandise Authorization form. Please contact our customer support team toll-free at 1-866-613-1386 or 1-415-318-8252 if you do not have the original invoice number. We will try our best to obtain the number for you. Items may not be accepted for warranty or repair without a valid invoice number.
- Clean your garment or product before sending it to us. Items requiring cleaning will delay the warranty process and will include a cleaning charge.
- Ship the item to 1024 Illinois Street, San Francisco, CA 94107. Please send your items using a reliable carrier that offers tracking. It is strongly recommended that you insure the package at full value as you will be responsible for ensuring all items arrive at our warehouse in their original condition.
What is and is not covered under the warranty policy?
- Defects in materials or workmanship are covered for the lifetime of the product. Material refers to zippers, buckles and fabrics. Workmanship refers to seams, lamination, and construction.
- Damage due to wear and tear such as rips, tears, abrasion or UV degradation, misuse or neglect is not covered under our warranty policy, including during the lifetime of the product. We recommend visiting our Product Care page for more information on how to properly wash and care for your gear. Please use your best judgment when assessing whether your product is likely to be covered under our warranty policy.
- Warranty coverage extends to Triple Aught Design brand and Triple Aught Design co-branded products. Products that are not covered under our warranty may be covered under another warranty provided by the product's manufacturer. Please contact the manufacturer directly for more information.
Will Triple Aught Design repair my product or replace it?
If your Triple Aught Design product fails due to a manufacturing defect, where possible, we will repair the item at no charge to you. If the product is not repairable, or the cost of the repairs exceeds the value of the product, we may, at our discretion, choose to replace the product or issue a merchandise credit based on the current selling price.
If you would like to have your item returned to you rather than being replaced or issued a merchandise credit, please indicate so in the comments portion of the RMA form. Choosing this option may void future warranty claims for this item.
Are rips, tears, and punctures covered under warranty?
Rips, tears, and punctures can occur during use and are not covered under the terms of this warranty.
Do alterations void my warranty?
We understand that individuals may, on occasion, wish to tailor their Triple Aught Design products to suit their needs. If something should fail that is unrelated to any alterations, Triple Aught Design will stand behind our product, provided the product is being used as intended and meets the standard warranty requirements.
How long will it take for a warranty repair or replacement?
Our typical turn-around time is four to six weeks after we receive your Triple Aught Design product. We will provide you with more information once we receive and assess your product.
How do I prepare my item for return to Triple Aught Design?
In order to comply with health and safety regulations, as well as for the protection of our staff, we kindly ask that all products be laundered before being sent to us. Products that arrive unwashed may be returned to you or subject to cleaning fees before assessments can be made.
How are shipping costs handled?
Customers are responsible for shipping items to Triple Aught Design. Triple Aught Design will cover the return shipping costs. Please ensure that you ship the product(s) using a carrier that can provide you with tracking information and proof of delivery. Please insure all items for their full value.
Important notes and restrictions
Warranties will not be honored for items that do not meet the criteria for warranty coverage.
Triple Aught Design is not responsible for loss or any costs incurred (including freight, duties and taxes, or import fees) for items returned without a RMA form or returned to any address other than Triple Aught Design's warehouse.
As a safeguard against potential abuse, Triple Aught Design reserves the right to deny a refund to anyone who has made what we determine to be excessive, unreasonable, or fraudulent warranty requests.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may have other rights, which vary from state to state. This warranty policy supersedes all previous warranty policies.
