Return Policy

Within 60 days

Triple Aught Design gladly accepts returns of unworn, unwashed or undamaged merchandise for full refund within 60 days of the date the order was received. Refunds accompanied by the original invoice will be made in the form of the original payment. If the original invoice is unavailable, we will issue a merchandise credit based on the current selling price.

Knives, Final Sale items, and Gift Certificates are exempt from this policy. Please see below for more details.

After 60 days

Triple Aught Design will gladly issue a merchandise credit for unworn, unwashed or undamaged merchandise. The merchandise credit will be based on the current selling price.

Please follow these simple steps to return your purchase by mail:

Print and complete a Return/Repair Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and send it in with the merchandise you wish to return or exchange. Items must be returned in original condition to the following address:

If the return is in any way a result of an error by Triple Aught Design, please contact Customer Support indicating your invoice number and nature of the error. We will provide you with a prepaid UPS return label and refund all applicable shipping costs.

Unfortunately, we will be unable to reimburse any shipping charges if this procedure is not followed.

If the return is not the result of an error by Triple Aught Design you will be responsible for all shipping costs incurred and any costs associated with returning the item(s). Please send your return using a reliable carrier that offers tracking. It is strongly recommended that you insure the package as you will be responsible for ensuring all items arrive at our warehouse in their original condition.

Exchanges

Exchange requests for the same item with a size and/or color variation are subject to availability. A refund will be processed if the product is unavailable. Exchanges are not available for international orders.

To request an exchange for different items, please call our Customer Support team toll-free at 1-866-613-1386 (if you are calling from outside of the US please call 1-415-318-8252). We will place a new order for your desired item. You may also place your order online. You will be charged for this order and once we receive your return, your refund will be processed.

Refunds

Most returns and exchanges will process within two to three weeks, depending on your method of return. The refund will be credited back to your original method of payment. It may take up to two billing cycles for the credit to appear on your monthly credit card statement. Please note, Paypal payments can only be refunded back to your Paypal account within 60 days of your order date.

Please note: we are unable to process refunds for expired bank cards. The amount paid will be issued as a merchandise credit.

Knives and select Tools

Refunds will be available for up to seven (7) days from the day you receive your order. Items must be accompanied by the original invoice and in original condition. A 15 percent restocking fee will be deducted from the refund total. No refunds will be available after the 7 day refunds period has expired.

Final Sale

We do not accept returns or exchanges on final sale merchandise, online or in store. Prices ending in .98 indicate a final sale purchase. Samples, prototypes, and seconds are sold “as is" and warranty coverage does not apply.

Price Adjustments

Triple Aught Design gladly honors a one-time price adjustment on full priced merchandise if an item is marked down within seven (7) days of the date of your purchase. To obtain a price adjustment on an online purchase, you must call 1-866-613-1386 (1-415-318-8252 for international calls), or contact Customer Support within the seven (7) day window. Please include your sales order number in your email message. If you are within the deadline, we will refund you the difference in your original form of payment.

A price adjustment for an online or phone order will not be made at a Triple Aught Design store.

A price adjustment for a store purchase can be made by phone or email request. The refund will be in the form of a gift certificate.

Return or exchange an item to our retail store

For your convenience, Internet purchases may be returned to our Triple Aught Design retail store. The Triple Aught Design retail store can only accept returns of items that were purchased at a Triple Aught Design retail location or at tripleaughtdesign.com.

Items purchased at our Triple Aught Design retail store may be returned by mail. Please follow the instructions provided above on how to return your purchase by mail. Your refund will be issued in the form of a merchandise credit.

Gift Returns and Gift Certificates

If you've received a gift and would like to return or exchange it please send it back to us and you will receive a merchandise exchange or credit for the original price paid, as stated on the gift receipt. If the gift receipt is not available or the return is made after the 60-day returns period we will make an exchange or issue a merchandise credit based on the current selling price.

Gift certificates are redeemable for cash if the value is less than ten dollars, except as otherwise required by law. Gift certificates and merchandise credits are transferable and Triple Aught Design is not responsible for items that are lost or stolen.

Promotion Codes on Returned Orders

If you have used a promotion code on an order and later decide to return ALL parts of that order as a result of an error on Triple Aught Design's part, we will gladly issue you a new promotion code for a future purchase on the site. If the return did not result from an error by Triple Aught Design you will be unable to re-use the original promotion code.

Lost or Stolen Gift Certificates

Triple Aught Design is not responsible for lost or stolen gift certificates. Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash unless otherwise specified.

Important Notes and Restrictions

Refunds and exchanges will not be issued for products that do not meet our criteria for return or exchange. Items will be sent back to you and a reasonable rate and fee will be charged for return shipping.

Triple Aught Design is not responsible for loss or any costs incurred (including freight, duties and taxes, or import fees) for items returned without a RMA form or items returned to any address other than Triple Aught Design's warehouse.

As a safeguard against potential abuse, Triple Aught Design reserves the right to deny repair, replacement, or refund to anyone who has made what we determine to be excessive, unreasonable, or fraudulent warranty requests.

This return policy gives you specific legal rights; you may have other rights, which vary from state to state. This return policy supercedes all previous warranty policies.
