The Microtech ADO TAD Edition is a custom Microtech hand ground by Tony Marfione. It’s one piece design offers the highest possible weight-to-strength ratio while its small size takes up little space in your pack or bug-out-bag. The ADO or Alpha Detachment Operative, with its distinct OD Green Moly Coat and laser etched logo ensure it’s a one-of-a-kind TAD collaboration. This knife follows the design of Chris Reeve fixed blades with a hollow handle, accessed by unscrewing the glass breaker tip (with o-ring seal).
Features:
- Small and lightweight, the ADO is hand crafted from a 154-CM steel billet that’s ultimately hand ground and treated with a weather resistant coating to endure the elements.
- The blade was designed as a bayonet point with swedge and three fullers including the one on the spine of the blade for an enhanced aesthetic and weight savings.
- The tungsten carbide glass breaker tip can be used to break glass in case of an emergency while the butt cap with o-ring delivers an airtight closure for the hollow handle.
- The 3.25” knurled hollow handle is designed to stow all of your survival essentials like Survival Spark, water purification tablets and needle and thread.
- The boot style leather sheath with clip includes Marfione’s dagger logo.
